And of course, it wouldn’t be Untamed Humans if we didn’t give you the opportunity to personalize it. So choose the version of the recipe below that best suits YOU, and enjoy!
- 1.5 oz Tequila or Rosé or Grapefruit Perrier (You choose!)
- 3 oz Fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 oz Fresh lime juice
- 1 oz Rosemary rose simple syrup (or more if you want it sweeter)
- 1 Sprig of Rosemary
- 1 Dehydrated grapefruit
- 2 slices of Cucumber (optional)
- Rose Sugar to rim the glass
Making the Rosemary Rose simple syrup
To make the simple syrup, vigorously mix the filtered Rose Water with the Rosemary Sugar for 30-40 seconds, or until the sugar is completely dissolved. This will make 1.5 ounces. Set aside.
Preparing the citrus
1. Cut the grapefruit and lime in half crosswise.
2. Juice the citrus halves into two separate bowls. Do not discard the used lime.
3. Cut a notch in the lime and run the lime around the rim of a cocktail glass.
4. Dip the edge of the rim into the Rose Sugar.
If using Tequila:
Measure and pour grapefruit juice, lime juice, simple syrup and tequila into the cocktail glass. Then, stir ingredients and add enough ice to fill the glass. Lastly, garnish with dehydrated grapefruit slice, rosemary sprig and cucumber slices.
If using Rosé:
Measure and pour grapefruit juice, lime juice and simple syrup into the cocktail glass. Stir ingredients and add ice to fill your glass ¾ of the way. Top off with rosé. Garnish with dehydrated grapefruit slice, rosemary sprig and cucumber slices.
If using Grapefruit Perrier for a mocktail:
Measure and pour grapefruit juice, lime juice and simple syrup into the cocktail glass. Stir ingredients and add ice to fill your glass ¾ of the way. Top off drink with Grapefruit Perrier. Garnish with dehydrated grapefruit slice, rosemary sprig and cucumber slices.
